Percy & Lillian Jackson Educational Incentive Fellowship

To Family, Friends and Associates:

As we approach the end of a truly unparalleled year where our country has faced a global pandemic and witnessed a powerful movement for racial equity and justice, we hope that you have and are still using these times for a transformational period in your life as well as for others. Although we should express our gratitude all the time, we take the month of November and through the holidays until end of December to offer special thanks and appreciation. In like manner, we want to thank you, our family, friends, and associates, for helping to celebrate both of our parents lives in 2019 and for the support you have given since. We certainly appreciate all the phone calls, texts, emails, cards, prayers, and positive thoughts.

When our parents were alive, we honored them all the time, but this year will be a unique one as we launch and embark on a project to honor their love for education by helping others. This has been an unprecedented year, and many have suffered health-wise and financially. Some students have had to take a leave of absence from school or delay their entrance due to lack of funds as well as parents being laid off, furloughed, or fired. We need to respond to these events while escalating our efforts to share and help others as we close out 2020, we are asking for your help to achieve this goal for some. Ultimately, we are asking you to consider donating to the Percy & Lillian Jackson Educational Incentive Fellowship for qualified students. The Fellowship is designed to help cover tuition and books after the student has been officially admitted to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Students will have to apply for the Fellowship and it will be administered by Cultural Crossroads Inc. a nonprofit community organization. It is in honor of this deceased couple who encouraged countless students, both Jaguars and Tigers to keep their eyes on the prize—a high school diploma and eventual college degree(s). Leading the way as influential role models and positive examples within our community, they facilitated, in various ways, many students finishing their college degrees. Percy & Lillian Jackson were a blessing to many young adults, and I ask you to help continue their legacy with a charitable donation to this impactful project. Send your donation in any amount to the Percy & Lillian Jackson Educational Incentive Fellowship. Thank you for your time, consideration, and donation. May you continue to be abundantly blessed in 2020 and beyond!

Yours in peace and love,

Joyce & Paula
